| ExpertLive session: Vector Images
Topic: Creating Vector Images in Flash When: Wednesday October 29, 12:25pm Where: WebEx Training Platform Capital High School has requested the first ExpertLive session of the year. Write to Maitreyi - (maitreyi@worldwideworkshop.org) if you are interested in scheduling an ExpertLive session for your students. ExpertLive session: Get Blog Updates through RSS A few educators requested a session about using Google Reader to easily see all of their students' blog updates. All of you are welcome to join this session! We will walk you through using Google Reader and subcribing to RSS feeds. We will also address specific technical blogging issues. |

| "I introduced wikis in a presentation for the students in the math department a couple of weeks ago. I set up a wiki for their project. If it weren't for Globaloria, I wouldn't have the strong foundation and understanding of wikis. I could feel it from the Globaloria students, as well. The math teachers asked me to explain our project to three class at one time. I was in the commons area explaining to a room of about 70 math students about working with a wiki. Every single Globaloria student in my presentation gave out a "Yay," or some kind of positive recognition of the use of wikis.
My first impression of Globaloria was that it was all about creating games. But I think Globaloria's objectives are much more.
