Welcome the the Globaloria WV Interns office!

This is where you will find our interns hard at work -- creating tutorials and doing many other projects to improve the Globaloria community! All of the interns are Globaloria WV students who have the aptitude and passion to take their own learning to the next level and to help the whole WV community.

Research and suggest tutorials that specifically use CS4 for the curriculum topics

Add to the Code Library

Post short snippets of useful code in this Code Library -- Be sure to sign your name (use the signature button on the edit tools bar).

This library will become a reference tool on all the schools' wikis.

Review Student Work and Games on assigned wikis and blogs

Try to encourage and help the students in the communities you are supporting online by leaving messages (i.e. questions, hints, praise, links to tips and tutorials) on the Talk tab of their Profiles, Project pages and Team pages.

Blog at least once a week

Each intern needs to create a weekly entry on the 2009 Globaloria Interns Blog

Share something interesting that you did or that you observed in the communities you support.

Attend Weekly Check-in Calls with Globaloria staff

Calls are Mondays at 4 pm on the Foundation conference line.

Each intern will lead 10 minutes of the conversation to talk about the communities you support, and any projects you did during the past week. You can use WebEx to surf to stuff you want to share with the group.

If you can't attend a call, you need to email Maitreyi before 4pm on Monday.

Maintain Project Log on your Internship page

It is important that you keep your work and tracking up-to-date as part of your efforts. You will be tasked with creating tutorials, supporting educators and students, and engaging in the community.

Directions for creating Internship page

1. Create a link to your user page, your blog, and your project page.

2. Your internship page will house your tasks to be completed and your Progress Report. Every time you work on your internshp projects make sure you report it here. Write the date, what you worked on and how much time it take. Copy the table from below to get you started.
