Hillbilly Ninjas

Our game will be a take off on the popular Pac Man game series.
The user will have a choice of playing from the Coal Company’s point of view, or from an
Environmental Activist’s point of view.
Your avatar is a Power Plant. It moves around a grid consuming small mountain icons, increasing score by one lightbulb per mountain. As the player moves around the grid, Animals and Activists try to catch it. If the player eats a Coal Lump, it gains 5 lightbulbs and is able to turn and consume an Animal or Activist, gaining 10 lightbulbs. After eating a power up (Coal Lump) an educational blurb comes on the screen such as “You just gained the rights to blast 10,000 acres of virgin forest.” Other power-ups include Legislation and Billboards. The player's score would be represented by lights kept burning.
Your avatar is an Environmental Activist. It moves around a grid collecting small people icons, representing supporters for the cause. Each supporter raises the score by one follower As the player moves around the grid, Bulldozers and Coal Trucks try to catch it. If the player gains a Media Exposure, it gains 5 followers and is able to turn and consume a Bulldozer or Truck, gaining 10 followers. After eating a power up (Media Exposure) an educational blurb comes on the screen such as “Daryl Hannah’s protest just shown on CNN. Gain 10,000 signatures on your web site.” Other power ups include Legislation and Wind Turbines. The players score would be represented by number of signatures on a petition.
