Court's Rights
CIVICS GAME CONCEPT
- Our game teaches about the rights that students have at school. The game is about the Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Speech. At some schools the students think that they don't have a right about anything, but you're wrong. All students have a right to freedom of speech, and our game provides information on the basis of real life situations, where kids are taking their schools to court because they are blamed for something they were totally innocent about. For example, bullying is a big problem in some schools and will be addressed through the game play.

PAPER PROTOTYPE
- Date of Paper Prototype: October 2009
- Has our game changed? Yes, quite a bit, because we have been pressed for time. Our game has changed, but that still dosen't mean that it is bad. Our game is pretty cool even though it's not exactly what we wanted to go for.We still think that our game is good. The reason we were pressed for so much time was because we had so many snow days and two hour delays that we did not have time do the whole game as fancy and as great as we wanted it to be. We were not able to insert our Loading scene. And also we changed the color and the size of the text.Chelsey and I made some minor adjustments to the game.Such as when we were suppose to explain weather you got the question right or wrong there was suppose to be an explanation as to why.But like we said we were pressed for time.We changed the title scene and also added a game of fall down and we added a stick man that goes through three doors.

- What you learned:
I learned that theese Malaysian student's had been made fun of racially and they did not have the right to say or do anything bak according to this teacher.
- Why you chose this source:
Because this is a good case about freedom of speech and freedom of expression. And all of the facts seem about right so there for I liked this one.
