Sandy River Middle School is proud to immerse students in Globaloria: an industry-realistic "Game Making" learning experience delivered on the MyGLife Network using Websites, Wikis, Blogs, and other social media technology tools.
This wiki is YOUR space for learning and working together "virtually" as you design, develop, present and publish original games about important social issues. Go to Course Overview to get started.
IMPORTANT UPDATES

Check out the video Josh has finished with all your help! It's great! Good job, everyone!
Presentation at the Board Video- Share with your parents!!!
!!!NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR UPLOADED FILES:!!!
The naming convention Globaloria staff recommend using is: username_schoolwikiinitials_assignmentname.fla (e.g. sports girl24_srms_scrollingbackground.fla)
Also, fill in the Description field on the Upload page every time you upload a new file. The description should just be a few words long. Describe any key changes you made (i.e. Added sounds to game.) If its a photo or image,you can describe it (i.e. Hero character for game.)
Please, make sure you separate the units you are working on into headings, so that I know when your special effects files end and scrolling background files start!
Please, post your reponse to the question under the discussion tab on the main page! We would like to see your thoughts on the topic!

Blogging Requirements
My dear students!
I am posting some criteria for writing a blog that will receive good feedback from me:
1. Tell us about what you have learned.
2. Your challenges OR how the unit could be improved;
3. Your successes OR what you liked the best about the unit.
4. What did you create as a result of working on this unit?
5. For whom would you suggest this unit? (a person would be interested in the unit because...)
Happy writing!
