PLAYING TO LEARN assignments
Pick two games you played before and write a review about each of them. Choose one professional and one student made game.
Make sure you include the following points in your reviews:
* Name and purpose of the game * Describe it from a learner's point of view and a developer’s point of view * Design Analysis (Does it look good? Does it clearly illustrate the scientific the concept?) * Usability Analysis (Is it clear what you need to do as a user? Does it work well?) * Suggestions for improvement * 2-3 things that you would like to learn how to do (in terms of functionality, design or content)
Game1: Sims Run peoples lives.The game has great graphics. It doesn't look real but they are very clean. Yes it is very easy to play they also provide tips and instuctions. I would like to play more than one family at a time.nothing because none of my games are like that.
Game2: Little Big Planet You run threw the level and collect items along the way.The game doesn't just have left and right it has front and back.The graphics are very good. I would like more things to do with the game. You can beat the game very fast.I would like to learn how they made the game technicly 3D.
