Snowboarding Background

Here's a little bit of a snowboarding background.

The moving effect was created by making the larger trees in the back move slower than the smaller trees in the front. This can be done with any object as long as the larger objects are in the back and move slower than the smaller objects in the front.

Characters

The character's main movements are stand, duck, crash, and jump. The object is the duck under trees and jump over the rocks. If the player fails to duck under a tree, they will crash. The same is true for jumping over rocks.

At the beginning of the game, the player will start off with all four rafters with a paddle. They will lose a paddle every time they run into an object such as a rock or log in the water. The game is over if they lose all four paddles. fla file Char Movement file

WWR Background

The whitewater effect was created by using a movie clip. The background itself is a scrolling background made up of either 3 or 4 different sections.

Snowboarding

This was a the game before we figured out on how to handle the crash scene.
