Global Biology

Global Biology is an approach that will take students through the Biology course topics using the Globaloria experience to assist in their learning. Students will still be learning the same information as in other biology classes, they will still be in the lab doing exciting experiments, but their classwork will be different. Now, instead of worksheets, foldables, handouts, and other modeling techniques, Global Biology students will be creating digital projects to go with each unit. These projects will have the aim of modeling their understanding of the concepts involved as well as presenting the information in a way that can help others who might view them. By the end of the year, we hope each student has a Digital Portfolio that not only shows off all the wonderful knowledge they learned about Biology but also all the numerous skills that are needed in a truly 21st century world.
