Welcome to the American University MyGLife wiki
American University is proud to immerse its students, for the first time, in an industry-realistic Flash and "Game Making" learning experience. This innovative course was created in collaboration with the World Wide Workshop Foundation in New York City, and it's built on the MyGLife Game Design Platform, StarterKit Website, Wiki, Blog, and other Web 2.0 media.
Each of you will be a positive role model as you become makers of interactive games and share your knowledge and experiences through your wiki’s and blogs. In this course you will design and build original Flash projects and games.
This wiki is your space for collaborating and working together "virtually" on the assignments and games that you will conceive, develop, and present during the MyGLife Flash and Game Design Course.
Have Fun! (It's Hard Fun)
During the MyGLife Game Design Course, we will:
1. Utilize MyGLife Game Design StarterKit Website, with all its Resources, Tutorials, and Game Examples.
2. Use this course Blog to review games and other topics of interest to the community.
3. Collaborate by using this space, our community Wiki, and Expert Corner on Google Groups.
4. Publish your Flash projects and games on the MyGLife StarterKit website as past courses have done.
