NOA

Here are just some fun little "Flashies" (Little flash animations) that I've made in my free time!

How Did I Make That?
1. First, I made 3 images: the "Hey" image (the little heart is the letter Y in the font WEBDINGS), the "wats" image, then the "up?" image. 2. Then, I put the HEY image in the first frame (A frame is one of those little rectangles in that time line above the stage, or the white area, of the flash document). 3. Then, I clicked on frame 5 and created a "KeyFrame"(To make a keyframe, RIGHT CLICK on a frame and select "insert keyframe". Easy, right?) and moved the HEY over a little bit. 4. Then, I clicked frame 10 and did the same thing, only I moved HEY to a new place again. I did the same with WATS, and UP?. I didn't create a motion tween or anything like that-- I just let it play! How did I make That?
If you want to create two images and make them do two totally different animations, then you need to use layers: you need one image in one layer, and another image in another layer! So for this little animation, I used two layers, motion tweening, and some colorful squares! I made a red layer, and a blue layer. 1. First, I took care of the blue square. In one frame, I put it all the way to the left side. 2. Then, I created another keyframe and moved it over to the right a little bit, and made another keyframe, moved it over even more, and did that until it got to the other end. 3. Then, I clicked on the very first frame of the BLUE SQUARE'S LAYER, and held down SHIFT and then clicked on the last frame of the BLUE SQUARE'S LAYER to select it all, and created a motion tween! (to create a motion tween, you just need to right click and choose the option "create motion tween.") 4. Then, after the blue rectangle was moving smoothly from side to side, I did the same exact thing to the RED square (the red layer)... only I had the RED SQUARE start from the RIGHT side (moving left) instead of the LEFT side (moving right). 5. Then, after I had both squares criss-crossing each other, I picked a frame or two in the middle, selected them, and changed the colors of the squares to purple so it looks like they're blending for a second! Cool, right? Once again, if you have ANY questions, if you're confused, if you're curious, or anything... email me at noa@worldwideworkshop.org
